I agree ff6 is awesome, but you shouldn't say that the next game ruined everything. I only started ff7, but so far it is interesting. IMO, it is the extreme fandom that gives a bitter taste to ff6 fans, since this awesome game is being overshadowed.

OK It's wasn't the game that ruined everything it's the FANBASE for the Game That ruined everything.. Because 9 times out of 10 FF 7 IS THE ONLY FF The Idiots Played and They Refuse to Play FF 1-6 & 8-13.. The FF 7 FANBASE RUINED EVERYTHING !! Why do you think I hate FF 7 and all it's Sequels.. It all because of the FANBASE because they Are not Real FF Fans. For Someone like me who HAS BEEN A GAMER FOR 22 YEARS, It really pisses me off that they only played one game out of the series and Think They Can Call themselves Fans!! You Are Not a FAN unless you played ONE THAN ONE OF THE A GAME SERIES!! To be a TRUE FF FAN- You would have to have played AT LEASE 10 FFs.. Otherwise, You are NOTHING BUT A WANNABE!!

It is sad that people won't try the older versions of the game, but I'm sure that more people will try out the older games thanks to the wide exposure ff7 made... and the ones who don't bother are, like you said, not true fans. They would call themselves post-ff 6 fans. They wouldn't bother trying the game at all, so there's no point fuming about it. Let's just wait it out and let them discover the goodness they missed out as they get older.

I can't give my opinions on any games beyond ff6 cuz I haven't tried them (I'm still in the progress

), but it's best to ignore those fanbase or else they'd ruin your taste in enjoying the game.

I just Ignore FF 7 in General~~ Luckily for them FF 7 wasn't one of
my favorites ^,^ ~~ there are other FF games that I like better..
